Social Media Specialist

Do you know what a Social Media Specialist is?
Do you know what social media is but don’t know how to utilize it?
Or you don’t have time or patients to figure it out?
Are you one of the many people who are not tech savvy and need help with your social media marketing?
Do you want me to be your “ghost” writer, tweeter, or poster?
Layla can do that for you OR teach you! Whether you like it or not social media is important for your business. Maybe you want help with sales, brand awareness, or traffic to your company or product. Maybe you want to create a community, followers, or customers. Layla would love to help you for a very affordable price compared the the corporate Social Media Consultant or Gurus who charge $150/hr! Email her atsbimcompany@gmail.com or call 912-596-7104 for more information.
So what does a social media specialist do? What can she do for you: A social media specialist creates a strategy for how your business can use social media to get more sales and leads. They may advise you on technical details of social networking sites as well as help you use social media as an effective marketing channel. Some specialist write content, monitor your page, and write updates for you while others do not. Layla can do both for you. It’s my job to understand your brand/company and tone while creating a consistent voice with all of your social media.

{inspiration board} No. 2 lavender

This was supposed to be last weeks inspiration board, but I postponed it. I hope to get back up and running on the blog this weekend again now that Thanksgiving is over. Did you have a good Thanksgiving? Ours was wonderful and delicious

So, you'll probably see a lot of lavender, purple, lilac or violet on here since it's another one of my favorite colors. Plus don't you just love the smell of lavender. It's so pretty in a bouquet fresh or dried. Isn't that pattern and color combo amazing for your house too? So elegant and such a nice relaxing color. While I was on etsy.com I saw that lavender ring - gorgeous! Lucky girl who gets that!! I've decided to add in some nail polish images too into the boards. I'm a huge fan of Butter London nail polish since it goes on super smooth, dries fast and is NON-TOXIC! I have a few of their colors and think this color would be great for the winter.

{inspiration board} No. 4 thankful

I'm back, that was a short break and I feel very thankful for all my friends and family who have given me so much love during this difficult time. Thanks again for all the support ♥ I also jumped over my boards No. 2 and 3 that I already drafted and designed for the upcoming Mondays since I felt like this one was much better considering Thanksgiving is a few days away and I have a lot to be thankful for.

Blogcation

Very sad day. I just lost another family member who was my 2nd dad really. RIP Steve Gooding, you're with your best friend and my dad now. Some may know that I lost my dad in 2007 and Steve was his best friend and also helped take care of me when I was a little baby. He also checked in with us all the time after the death of my father even when he lived in the Pacific Northwest. The picture seen below are images of me as a baby and then a teenager with my father. Then there is Steve in front of this red honda, one of the many cars I learned to drive on. I was thankful to go and visit Seattle one year and go with Steve to his cabin in the woods. It was a magical place surrounded by huge trees and away from everything. It was his happy place and I got to go there with him to experience it. I will miss you and find peace knowing that you are now with your best friend and causing a raucous in heaven! -- I will be back to my blog when I calm down and find time to be creative again.
Love,
Layla

{Vendor Spotlight} Delaney Jewelry Designs

I haven't done a Vendor Spotlight in awhile so when Keri liked my facebook page I had to look at her website and like it back! I have done a few posts about  and since my father did pass away before I was married I get really sentimental when I see businesses that can creatively honor those who can't be there for your special day.

Keri's personalized charms tiles are of a very high quality and unlike any you'll find. Your precious images are digitally transferred & baked in clay, then sanded & sealed to a UV proof & waterproof state with a glass-like finish. They are lightweight, ultra smooth, and very scratch resistant. All tiles and jewelry are handmade by Keri, the owner and artist at Delaney Jewelry Designs L.L.C. {inspiration board} No. 1 winter grey

I've created a few inspiration boards on my blog but always find that I want uniformity and consistency like magnolia rouge does or the perfect palette so my new inspiration boards will follow this new format, they'll be numbered and added onto f.b.! I will go by color, style, texture, but try to keep them all within a theme. These posts will include a flowers, invitations, jewelry, accessory, makeup, cakes, bride, gift, shoes, home, patterns and more. I already have Organic Wednesday, Bright Idea Thursday, and Pin it Friday, so I will hope to make these for Mondays. I'm kinda obsessed with the color gray as you may have seen this post already here plus my blog has a lot of grey. But can anyone tell me why sometimes this word is splelt grey or gray!!?

{Real Wedding} Natalie & Reid

I'm so excited to share with you my FIRST very Eco-friendly and total VEGAN wedding in Beaufort, SC!!! Natalie and Reid came to Beaufort to get married all the way from Seattle, WA since they both used to teach in Beaufort, SC and that is how they met. They wanted a week long celebration for all their family and friends to enjoy the LowCountry so they rented a house on Fripp Island. There was only 30 total guests, but they had such a fun creative wedding. Nicole Rene took these photos since they didn't have a photographer and she did such a GREAT job. I've included a lot of the detail shots plus setting up photos. A big thanks to ThriveCafe Savannah for providing their totally vegan dinner and bringing it all the way to Beaufort!

Ceremony: Fort Fremont - St. Helena Island, South Carolina
Reception Location: Charles Street Gallery Beaufort, South Carolina
Wedding Planners: Layla Mayville of All the Little Details and Nicole Rene of Simply Savannah Events
Officiant: Jennifer Taylor
Informal Photographer: Nicole Rene
Caterer: Thrive Cafe (all vegan!!)
DJ: ipod playlist thru rental companies portable speaker
Rentals: Amazing Event Rentals

The Bride, Natalie walked in to The Cure "Just Like Heaven"

Natalie's long time friends were so nice! They helped set up the garden for the reception, arranged the flowers and did hair & makeup! I drove them from the art gallery reception to the vacation rental on Fripp Island to finish getting ready. To save time they started doing their hair in my car!! Her friends even helped make a vegan cake. Once everyone was ready and Nicole got some great photos we all drove to St. Helena in a choo choo train to the Fort and then back to the art gallery in Beaufort.

{Real Wedding} Lindsey & Blake

Lindsey Waldrep & Blake Elsignhorst had the most interesting and fabulous private island wedding in the LowCountry. Lindsey wanted to have an intimate family focused wedding where her guests could stay over, relax and hang out. In fact Lindsey said she was so happy she hired us so that she could take a long nap on her wedding day and not have to worry about anything. That's one of the biggest reasons I love to help people, so they can enjoy their day. This post is going to be very loooooooooooong because I loved their wedding and Traci the photographer is so amazing I couldn't cut out any images. Traci is available to travel too! Sit back and get ready to be WOWed!

Ceremony & Reception Location: Reynolds Mansion Sapelo Island
Wedding Planners: Simply Savannah Events/All the Little Details Designs
Photographer: Traci Arney
Ceremony & Reception Music: Johan Harvey
Paster: Dr. Caroline Dawes
Eco-friendly details: made their own cake, guest didn't have to travel much since it was on a private island, guests favors were rented bicycles to explore the island, flowers from wholesale and arranged by the bride, DIY escort cards made from oysters that were left over from an oyster roast, rehearsal dinner was set up at the beach on the island and guests could walk, and drift wood for table decor was found on the beach.
Traci captured the experience of going on the ferry to the island and all the islands beauty. Her images are all copyrighted so please ask her permission to use any of them.
Rehearsal Dinner
Private couple session with Traci
Blake graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and as a gift to Lindsey, he made and decorated their wedding cake, plus it was gluten free! Blake is the owner and chef of the Savannah restaurant, Cafe 37, so you can image the gluten-free pineapple concoction with rum butter cream was delicious! Lindsey is a lucky woman!
Prior to the ceremony, everyone wandered around the house grounds and just chilled for a bit. While Nicole and I set up all the wedding details, Traci took these artistic detail shot.
Once Lindsey was ready and before the ceremony began she and Traci went out for some bridal shots. Lindsey’s genuine happiness is evident in these breathtaking images!
One of my favorite moments during the ceremony was the breaking of the sand dollar. Here’s the story behind this sweet and very unique act of their union:
In the Legend of the Sand Dollar, the poem reads
“Now break the center open,
And here you will release
The five white doves awaiting
To spread Good will and peace.”
Lindsey and Blake have had many special moments on the Georgia coast, from watching tropical storms hit Tybee Island in their 20’s to sharing a special weekend the first time they kayaked to Little Tybee last year. On that trip, they found sand dollars. Lindsey hoped to take them home as a memento, but they were broken in transit. When they first came to Sapelo, again, sand dollars were gathered to be kept, but broke in Lindsey’s suitcase on the way back to TN. A third time, again on Sapelo, the results were the same. This time Blake told her not to worry, that she was setting free the doves of peace.  Lindsey and Blake decided to break open another sand dollar, this time together with intention, to represent and guide them towards a peaceful marriage filled with good will.  May they always have the 5 doves of peace in remembrance of this day.
After the ceremony and while Lindsey & Blake took some husband and wife images with Traci, the guests enjoyed some more cocktails and hors d'oeuvre.
Lindsey glitterized these oyster shells for each guests place setting and wanted a gourmet elegant intimate dinner with her family and friends. What a romantic night!
